AUGB Manchester’s Community

The AUGB Manchester Community Centre has been the nucleus of the Ukrainian Community in Manchester and the surrounding areas for over 60 years. The Centre is a valuable asset in the development of Ukrainian culture, education and traditions and has a long record of service to both Ukrainian and non-Ukrainian communities.

AUGB exists to develop, promote and support the interests of the Ukrainian community in the UK.

We aim to have:
A thriving and growing membership which embraces Ukrainians of all generations and all backgrounds
Proactive elected leadership which works in partnership with others and communicates effectively with members, the wider community and the outside world
A strong and vibrant cultural life through a network of flourishing, active and well-managed community centres
Effective youth, cultural, educational and social development plans
A strong financial base through effective business planning and management of assets
